String Points

I have had a couple of integrators asking about how I would interact with the String Writable points in the Pelican Wireless N4 Driver.  The following snippet shows how I interact with them If I do need to write to them:

You can also add these points to the device by simply clicking new while in the Point Manager instead of dragging from the palette.  This will give you read only points instead of writable if that is what you want.  (you could always hide some flags too!)

The only thing that needs to be setup is the Point ID in the Proxy Extension, and this info can be had from Thermostat Attributes – Pelican Wireless Systems .  This describes the data you can get from the Pelican Cloud SaaS, and while not necessary to use the Niagara Driver, it is helpful.
